Join us in Luke 5:27–39, where Jesus walks up to a tax booth — to a man his own religion had ruled to be walking contamination — and says two words. Follow Me. No cleaning up first. With the Church Fathers as our guides, we find what Christ said He was doing at that table: not judging the room, but treating it. Nobody here is barred from the feast. But you have to say where it hurts.
