Be Watchful — No One Knows the Day
Mark 13:3–37 · The Mount of Olives Discourse
Four men asked Jesus a single question — maybe the most natural one a human being can ask. When? He refused to answer it. Flatly. And then He said one word, four times over, and left them with that instead. For two thousand years people have gone digging through this passage for the answer He wouldn’t give — every one of them walking straight past the word He actually said. With the Church Fathers as our guides, we find why the answer they were begging for would have been the most dangerous thing He could ever have handed them.
